Masashi was born 8 november 1974 in Okayama Prefecture, Japan. He have a twin brother, Seishi (Masashi is older than Sishi). Kishimoto is Mangaka (manga artist).
As pre Masashi Kishimoto he loved the TV series "Doraemon", all his friends then also had regard to the series, and made drawings of his characters. Kishimoto was always the perfectionist, noting the obvious errors in the drawings of others and showing them the correct way todraw them.
Into their elementary school years, the most famous creation of Akira Toriyama, Dragon Ball, animebecame Kishimoto and this meant a whole new interest in Manga and Shonen Jump magazine in.Kishimoto and his brother often played trying to think of names for their characters.
